Mississauga Halton & Central West (LHIN 5 and 6)

Spanning LHINs 5 and 6, the SHRTN Local Implementation Team is provided by a subgroup of the Metamorphosis Network. The LIT was formed in September 2009 when the Metamorphosis Network brought together representatives from SHRTN stakeholder groups in the Mississauga Halton & Central West LHIN areas.

Mandate, Scope, and Jurisdiction

Within the Mississauga Halton and the Central West regions, this LIT will:

• Put forward suggestions on how to mobilize and achieve SHRTN goals.
• Make recommendations on distribution of resources that support the goals of SHRTN.
• Provide management oversight of SHRTN (assisting with SHRTN marketing and events).
• Liaise with Local Health Integration Networks.

Meetings

The inaugural meeting was held in September 2009 and a meeting schedule for fiscal 2009–2010 will be established by the current members.
