About

The Promoting Productive Partnerships among Colleges, Universities and Long-term Care Homes Community of Practice aims to improve health care by:

  • Improving the integration of research and innovation in long-term care homes.
  • Education of health science students in long-term care to improve care of seniors throughout the spectrum of health services.
  • Responding to health human-resource challenges in long-term care homes.

The Community of Practice promotes and facilitates networking opportunities within the Ontario’s long-term care homes. It brings together those who have created partnerships to exchange strategies.

Membership

The membership of the CoP has grown significantly over the last year, and now includes over 80 members. Among them are paid and unpaid caregivers, researchers, policy makers, and educators.
