Activity & Aging

The goal of the Activity & Aging Community of Practice (CoP) is to educate and advocate on behalf of older adults living in care facilities to establish and promote realistic, outcome-based programs that can help benchmark effectiveness for all homes in Ontario and Canada.

To do this, an ACTIVE Guide will be created as a systematic and comprehensive approach to activity programming for frail seniors living in care facilities.

The Activity & Aging CoP will continue to strengthen the participation of current members and will focus on recruiting additional members.

The third goal of this CoP is to partner with other CoP’s to better learn and transfer knowledge between contemporary CoPs.
