Seniors Researcher Initiative

About

The ORC previously funded the Senior Investigators’ initiative which utilized $80,000 to assist investigators in developing new research proposals to support the ORC’s primary goals. The applicants were required to demonstrate the following:

  • Identify and demonstrate how two or more senior investigators from two or more of the seven ORC institutes will work together on a proposal to the Canadian Institutes of Health Research (CIHR)
  • Demonstrate their expertise in the identified ORC priority
  • Outline a Knowledge Translation Workshop that will involve stakeholders from the Ontario Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care (MOHLTC), Local Health Integration Networks and others who will be asked to endorse the CIHR proposal

This initiative is no longer funded, but please peruse our previous award recipients below.
