An overview of both the challenges and the key recommendations put forward in the Caring for an Aging Population and Addressing Alternate Level of Care report. Areas for discussion include primary care, community care, cross-system responsiveness to special needs populations, acute care hospitals and seniors’ care, and the assess and restore philosophy. A discussion will be led on opportunities and challenges with moving forward on these recommendations.

CDRAKE is hosting a unique opportunity for you to engage in a 4-part Facilitated E-Learning series starting next month. Sponsored by the Public Health Agency of Canada and facilited by Dr. Maggie Gibson, this series will bring depth and dialogue to the online e-learning modules for Emergency Management, Frailty, Dementia and Disasters. Together, participants will engage with the e-learning resource content, the content experts and each other in a meaningful exchange on emergency prepareness for a complex population. The sessions build on each other, so plan to attend the entire series and save all 4 dates in your calendar!
